Grizzlies’ point guard Ja Morant has suffered a Grade 1 left ankle sprain, and Memphis has to make sure that his long-term health is the top priority. While the Grizzlies’ inability to stay healthy has helped them overcome injury woes in the past, they’re now facing a serious health issue, and they must get Morant back on the court as soon as possible.

Grizzlies’ star point guard suffered a Grade 1 left ankle sprain

Grizzlies’ star point guard Ja Morant suffered a Grade 1 left ankle sprain during the game against Oklahoma City Thunder on Friday. Ja was injured when his left foot collided with Thunder’s Luguentz Dort. He was assisted off the court and helped to the locker room. The Grizzlies’ training staff evaluated the injury.

The Grizzlies are currently tied for second place in the Western Conference, trailing only the Portland Trail Blazers. Memphis is 10-6 in the first 16 games of the season. However, they are also missing the services of starting shooting guard Desmond Bane, who is still battling a toe sprain.

In addition, the Grizzlies have been hit hard by the injury bug this season. The team has lost starters Danny Green, Ziaire Williams, John Konchar and Desmond Bane, and they now have to fill the voids.

Fortunately, the Grizzlies have been able to overcome their injury woes and are now a top tier team. They have won eight of their last ten games, but they are still struggling to stay healthy. They have already lost two high scoring starting guards, and they will need backups to step up to fill the void.

Tyus Jones and Brandon Clarke enter the starting unit

Grizzlies coach Taylor Jenkins has been a fan of using two point guards in his lineup. It has proven to be effective in getting the best out of both Ja Morant and Tyus Jones.

The Grizzlies are now playing the best basketball of their young careers. They are currently leading the Western Conference. They will play the Detroit Pistons on Thursday. Memphis also defeated the Cleveland Cavaliers 110-106 on Tuesday. The Grizzlies are in the midst of a five-game winning streak.

The team has been able to win without both Jaren Jackson Jr. and De’Anthony Melton. However, the bench has been one of the main sources of anguish for fans. They have been a source of confusion.

The Grizzlies have been fortunate to have a bigger sample size to work with, as well as a new head coach. This has helped the players remain confident. In addition, the team has played the most evenly distributed scoring night of the season, with seven different players scoring in double figures.

Grizzlies’ inability to remain healthy has helped them overcome injury woes

During the first week of the season, the Memphis Grizzlies were heavily dependent on the services of their All-Star point guard, Ja Morant. During the first three games of the season, injuries plagued the Grizzlies and overshadowed the results.

In the opening game of the season, Morant scored 44 points against the San Antonio Spurs. He then sprained his left knee in November. He returned to the court in a December game against Denver, but went down late in the fourth quarter with a Grade 1 left ankle sprain.

As for the other obvious entrant, he isn’t there yet. He hasn’t played in a game since December and is doubtful to play in Game 5 against the Brooklyn Nets.

The Grizzlies have overcome their injury woes, winning five of their six games after Morant left. They have also held their opponents to 101 or fewer points in each of their last five games.

Memphis Grizzlies must prioritize morant’s long-term health

Grizzlies point guard Ja Morant is doubtful for Game 4 of the Western Conference Semifinals against the Golden State Warriors. Despite his absence, Memphis is still in the race for the playoffs. But the Grizzlies must take a step back and prioritize Morant’s long-term health.

Ja Morant has been a huge part of the Grizzlies offense this season. He has produced team highs of 18.8 points and 6.5 assists per game. He has also made some spectacular highlight dunks this season.

But he is not healthy. In fact, he has missed the last five games with a sprained knee. He also suffered from back spasms earlier this month. He has a bone bruise in his knee and he is not expected to play in Game 4.

If he does not play in the next three games, Ja Morant will be sidelined for the remainder of the playoffs. He is unlikely to return in the first two games of the Western Conference Finals, either.
